As a U.C.C. student of Spanish Language and Cultural Studies, I had the opportunity to go on my Erasmus year to Burgos (Spain) at the turn of the millennium (1999 – 2000). I distinctly remember the first few months of “If only I had known…” 

Upon completing my Erasmus Year, I returned to UCC with a goal. I successfully completed my final degree year, got a position working in the University of La Coruña (4 years), started a successful language academy in Madrid (www.emilysenglishroom.com), set up my own company in tourism and event management (www.madridtapastrail.com) and now offer Erasmus students a unique personalized programme which encompasses both my passions: education and event management.
